"The soul comes from without into the human body, as into a temporary abode, and it goes out of it anew it passes into other habitations, for the soul is immortal." "It is the secret of the world that all things subsist and do not die, but only retire a little from sight and afterwards return again. Nothing is dead; men feign themselves dead, and endure mock funerals… and there they stand looking out of the window, sound and well, in some strange new disguise." Ralph Waldo Emerson

Caution to Clients
We urge you to please be cautious of non professional groups, who may charge for services, are out for a thrill, or may holdquestionable motives and morals.EOPIC takes great pride in the professional operation and discrete scientific based investigations which we conduct, with all our investigators adhering to our strict code of conduct andprotocols
Be cautious of exclusivity clauses (which are not legally binding with regard to access to federal, provincial or municipally owned, operated or leased properties) and ensure you read and fully understand any documents that you sign. If they are unclear, or contain gross errors, have the documentation explained and or corrected so that you do fully understand what you are signing. All documentation should be in the best interest of and for the protection of the client and NOT solely beneficial to any particular group.
Lets face it, despite what some may say, there is no market to corner with regard to paranormal investigations and most groups are willing to share evidence, consult each other on questionable material, are willing to accept professional, skeptical criticism on evidence and will put the client first and foremost. We are here to conduct research into the paranormal, and to educate, not to be so brash and arrogant as to aspire to be the Canadian version of "Ghost Hunters" as seen on the SciFi Channel.
NO ONE SHOULD EVERY HAVE TO PAY TO HAVE AN INVESTIGATION or CONSULTATION CONDUCTED, NOR SHOULD YOU BE REQUIRED TO PURCHASE ANYTHING, OR FEEL OBLIGATED TO MAKE ANY SORT OF MONETARY DONATION. While most groups are "Non Profit" within the true sense of the term, we will never actively seek donations or compensation for our services. If any particular group seems to out for their own best interest first or hold an ulterior motive, they should bare closer scrutiny.
We would also encourage you to verify any groups credentials and to ask if they have undergone a criminal records check conducted by a local law enforcement agency or hold a valid governmental security clearance. Which in itself would have required scrutiny at a higher level.
In addition, prior to permitting any organization into your residence, place of work, or any other location you may be responsible for, request to see valid photo identification and copy or record all pertinent details. Anyone refusing to provide such information doesn't need to be in you home or business outside normal hours of operation.
If a group is conducting themselves or their investigation in such a manner as to make you feel uncomfortable, ask them to stop and or leave the premises. Although everyone holds their own religious beliefs, Paranormal investigations should be scientific, non denominational and non ritualistic. Religious beliefs are to be respected at all times however, you the client should not be force ably subjected to anothers belief system no matter what it's purported relevance to the paranormal may be.
Finally, no respectable paranormal investigative orginization will ever investigate any location without the site owners express written permission. To do so constitutes trespassing at the very least and is contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC) and or local Municipal By Laws.
EOPIC.ca is proudly Canadian
who we are
who we are

Due to our teams various technical and professional backgrounds we are able to assess every aspect of reported phenomena from a scientific standpoint whether it be structural and electrical analysis, historical significance and research or parapsychological factors.
All our members are extremely experienced within the field and are willing to go the extra step in order to ensure all of our client’s questions and concerns are met in a timely fashion and in a discrete and professional manner. In addition, all EOPIC members must adhere to our strict code of conduct and investigation protocols, again, ensuring the satisfaction of our clientele and their families.
what we are not
In order to clarify some common misconceptions, we feel it appropriate to briefly explain what we are not.
We are not, nor do we claim to be experts. Paranormal Investigation is a theoretical science, for one to claim to be an expert, within the definition of the term, in a field with no set standards is unnecessary.
We are not, psychics, clairvoyants, mediums or sensitive's. Although we are not opposed to the use of the aforementioned and hold a great deal of respect for those who possess such gifts, we do not profess to hold such talents.
We will not conduct rituals nor will we ever use ritualistic artefacts in or around your residenceor reported haunted location. As we are a scientific based investigative team, we use only the most up to date scientific equipment to record and catalogue our evidence.
Last but not least, we will not conduct cleansings of your residence or reported haunted location. To do so would be to conduct a form of ritual which is better left to those who are properly trained and more adept at these things. We can and will, however, offer additional resources and contact information for those resources to anyone who so wishes it, with our assurance that we will only recommend resources that we ourselves trust and that have been verified by our team.
